Historic St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer who was nicknamed “Stan the Man.” He was a 24-time All-Star, 3-time World Series Champion, 3-time National League MVP and 7-time NL batting champion. In 2011, Barack Obama presented him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
He had four children with Lillian Labash, whom he married in November 1939.
