Famous during the 1970s and ’80s for his Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Award-winning roles in the films Sukdulan, Lumakad Kang Hubad sa Mundong Ibabaw, and Kid Kaliwete, this popular actor went on to appear in such late 1980s movies as Classified Operation and Lala.
He grew up in Manila as the younger sibling of future Philippine President Joseph Estrada (born Jose Ejercito).
Sadly, he died of cancer at the age of forty-nine.
